These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MapleGamma (the "Service"), operated by [operator legal name] ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be of the age of majority in your province or territory of residence and able to form a binding contract. The Service is intended for residents of Canada outside Quebec (see Section 16). You are responsible for compliance with the laws that apply to you.
The Service provides general market information, automated commentary, and simulated results for educational and informational purposes only. The content is general in nature and is not tailored to the objectives, financial situation, or particular needs of any person.
Nothing on the Service is, or should be construed as, investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice, or a recommendation, offer, or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security or other financial instrument. We are not registered as an adviser or dealer. No advisory, fiduciary, or brokerage relationship is created by your use of the Service. You are solely responsible for your own decisions; consult a licensed professional before making any investment decision.
Any trades, positions, portfolios, or performance figures presented as simulated ("paper trading") are hypothetical. No real capital is deployed for figures presented as simulated. Simulated results have inherent limitations, are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, and do not represent actual trading or actual results.
The operator may hold positions in securities discussed on the Service. Where a view discusses a security the operator holds, that holding is disclosed on the relevant page. Such disclosures are not recommendations, and the operator may change positions at any time without notice.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (password, Google sign-in, and/or passkey) and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are used for abuse or fraud.
Certain features require a paid subscription. Prices are shown at checkout in the currency indicated (CAD) and are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected) at the then-current rate, and your payment method is charged for each renewal, until you cancel. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card details. We may change prices or plans on prospective notice; changes do not affect the current paid period.
We may offer a free trial (currently 7 days, no card required). Access during a trial is provided as-is and may be modified or withdrawn. Unless you choose a paid plan, a trial does not automatically convert to a paid subscription and no card is charged solely by starting a trial. One trial per person/household; we may limit or refuse trials we reasonably believe are abusive.
You may cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation stops future renewals, and your access continues until the end of the current paid period. You agree not to: (a) resell, redistribute, scrape, or create derivative products from the Service or its data except as expressly permitted; (b) reverse engineer or circumvent access controls, paywalls, rate limits, or security; (c) use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights; or (d) interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.
The Service, including its content, software, design, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. Market data and third-party content remain the property of their respective owners.
The Service relies on third parties (for example, hosting, authentication, payment processing, and market-data sources). Your use of certain features may be subject to those third parties' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or the accuracy of third-party data.
Market data, prices, signals, and other information may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and may be sourced from third parties. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability of any information.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, trading or investment losses, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the [12 months] preceding the claim, or [CAD $50]. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case some of the above may not apply to you.

The Service is not directed at, or intended for use by, residents of the province of Quebec, and is not available to Quebec residents.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
